Honestly UoY is wonderful and I recommend it so much, it's such a lovely environment! Campus east is certainly better to live on :) I think that's where interactive media would be based too.

To be completely honest, we have really struggled with long distance, so it's not easy for me to give advice because we are still working on it. I'm over emotional and on my own a lot of the time, and he's busy so doesn't have much time to chat. The one thing I always say though is to just keep communicating your needs and try not to jump to conclusions when something upsets you. If it's meant to be, it will work out, I am sure of it!

I'm sorry to hear about the parents, know it gets better and you won't be in that situation forever x
